p.s.

... since I'm already on and have absolutely nothing else to do... I should probably do that update I had planned... especially since we all know how often I get on here *grins*

Well, let's see... The recital was amazing... I had loads of fun and managed not to screw up too badly in anything... it was pretty crazy though since we had two shows again and I had six numbers in each... Evan, Emily, Gillian, Kaitlyn, Alan, Nick and Julianne as well as all of the family came to watch since it was my last show, and they all seemed to enjoy themselves... so yeah... I still haven't seen the video but I'm told it was pretty good. Em's slideshow for the 10th anniversary was AMAZING and everyone loved it... it was kinda scary though to see pictures of us together when we were that small... oooh!!! and it was really funny, 'cause everyone was mad 'cause they wanted me to go to music banquet... but I couldn't 'cause I had rehersal that night... and then we were talking about who they had gotten to DJ and they were saying that they couldn't get Alex 'cause he was busy... at which point I cracked up... 'cause, you see... Alex does the sound for our dance shows *grins*... I told them it served them right for putting Music banquet on a night I couldn't attend :P...

Then came formal... well.. actually... no... first came football playoffs which nearly all of us missed... (mainly 'cause we were all at my house setting up for the after party *looks sweet and innocent*.... well... at my grandmother's first and then at my place... 'cause the inspector was checking out our house for the people who are buying it... and we couldn't exactly let on that there was gonna be a huge party!!!) ...whoops... that's okay, we still came in fourth... yup... then came formal... which was soooo amazing!!! we all met up at Kav's first and had crazy amounts of fun taking pictures around the pool before 4 stretch limmo's full of us... that's right FOUR!.... took us over to fantasy farm where we proceded to have the time of our lives. ... it was sooo great and sooo much fun!!! everybody looked gorgeous - yes, that's right, even the guys :P - and we all had an insanely awesome time dancing and hanging around... even the teachers!... After that, the four limmo's full of people plus more who drove headed over to my house for what shall from now on be known as the never-ending party!!!!

... From what people tell me, it was an insanely-awesomely-crazily-amazing party... mostly I remeber not sleeping and cleaning up endless amounts of cups... and dancing and eating and just having a pretty damn good time!!! It was actually pretty amazing... and I warned the neighbours beforehand so we didn't have any problems there... although the police did show up around five in the morning for a noise complaint... because the sobber people were outside playing frisbee on the street!!! - honnestly, I'm not even kidding!!! I swear the cops must of thought we were nuts.... they were like "uh... could you wait to play frisbee until a more decent hour"... I can't lie, it was pretty funny :D!!!

OMG!! it was insane!!! not only did the party last alll night, but we went all the next day too!!! Basically we had a never ending BBQ/Buffet of food, talked, hung out, drank more, played football and frisbee at the park(- and, oddly enough, as soon as we started playing, some cops pulled in the parking lot *shifty eyes*) ...climbed monkey bars, swang on swings and generally acted like the little kids we still are *grins*. It was great!!! and then after all of that, and on almost 48hours of no sleep, pretty much everyone helped clean up!!! which was pretty much a party in itself!!! By the time we finished it was 10 on friday night (yeah, my school's weird, prom was on a thursday *shrug*) and the only eveidence that there had been a party was the 12 garbage bags in my garage!.

... so yeah... it was pretty crazy... and OMG!!! my prom dress was sooo gorgeous! I had actually picked it up in oxford last summer for 65 pounds! it's like this purpley-pinkish-blue colour that shifts depending on the light like raw silk! and my hair was sooo amazing!! I made Langan help me take it out after the party and there were 122 pins. 1-2-2!!!!! ...

... *sigh* it was amazing though and I totally wish we could do it again!!! Even if it did mean I was dead tired when I showed up at the studio for work on Saturday morning *grins* ... OOOOHH!!! SIDE NOTE: Miss Kim had a baby boy two weeks ago!!! I still haven't seen him but *jumps up and down excitedly*!!!

... after that... things pretty much went back to normal... school resumed for a week before exams... we had athletic banquet where the gifties definately swept the awards ... CONGRATULATIONS ZHENG, ADRIAN AND HEYMIAN!!!! and Angel and everyone else who won!!! but yeah... I swear our year's insane, you'd think that being gifted would mean being bad at sports... *shakes head* that's probably the biggest misconception ever... not only are they all bloody brilliant, they're all insanely good at sports as well!!!

Exams were fun - as always... yes, I know, I'm weird :P... and I did fairly well on all of them... could've done better on bio but *shrug*... I still say that that one question was impossible to answer since logically once you said that one of the statements was incorrect the other was as well :P!!!! *wrinkles nose*... anyhow... I got my 90's... well, all but one... although algeo and calc were definately thanks to Mr Chan and Mr Mo's help... but yeah... calc was still an 88... which meant I had to wait until 2 days ago to find out - that I GOT IN!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Oxford, here I come!!! *jumps up and down excitedly*.... the only bad part is that now I wont get to ski in the rockies next winter *pouts*!!!! Ah, well, I guess you can't have it all...

anyhow... so school ended and summer began... with me showing up to school everday for a week... *shakes head*... it was funny really... it's like I'm never going to be able to leave Woburn... but no, I had an SAC luncheon one day, and I had to go check all my marks and collect them for Oxford... which resulted in some pretty funny scenes... like me playing stones with Mr. Breadner in his office on one of the days... *shakes head* ...only me...

... Then, my summer started in earnest... and in typical me fashion, I headed out of the country! - this time, to the Global Yound Leader's Conference in Washington DC and NYC for two weeks... and it was INCREDIBLE!!! there were 364 of us from over 40 different countries!!! it was sooo amazing, I met sooo many great people from all over the world!!! It's insane what some people have done - sat in on autopsies and surgery, hiked mount kilimunjaro, done safaris, gone camping in the wilds of who-knows where, really been to and lived in crazily exotic places and seen things I've never seen... and I am thoroughly jelous!!! We all just clicked so well and so fast!!! I'm going to miss my fellow GYLC-ers sooo much!! and we KNOW we have to have reunions right!!! and alternate hosting them!!! I can't even begin to describe the experience... it's truly the people you meet that make the conference worth while!!! and now, I know that whenever I travel, I'll always have a place to stay :)!

... so yeah... that pretty much brings us to the present... and to the never-before-seen circumstances of Ally having absolutely nothing to do!!!... well, okay... that's not entirely true... I still need to get my full G... and we've started up a senoir dance class at the studio every wednesday night - which is awesome 'cause almost everyone has come back for it!!! and I mean everyone, some of the girls left 3-5 yrs ago!!! It's soooo much fun and I can't wait to start up again!!! - even if I did get fat again from eaing so much food these past two weeks :P... and I'm gonna start doing circus lesson again on Saturdays... only now I'm doing arial and acro - which is really exciting 'cause I haven't done them before... but yeah... other than that... and reading... and joining Em's D&D campaign (what?!?!?! I haven't played in years... 'sides, I'm gifted, I'm entitled to a little nerdiness every once in a while ;P!)... I have absolutely nothing to do.... part of me wants to get a job... but maybe... just maybe... I should relax for once in my life ;)...

As always, with love from the ever-insane,
Ally

EEEK!

Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe I'm actually done!!! I'm officially no longer a High School student *blinks rapidly*... I can still totally remember walking into the main doors at Woburn for the first time... and how it felt to be in grade nine... and just everything... it all just went by soo fast... and it's funny how everything just sort of blurs together... I can't even begin to imagine not be there... not having to wake up digustingly early for 7:45 Student Council meetings on mondays... or staying rediculously late for Stage Crew like I used to... or ... well... not being stuck there repeatedly day after day!!! I'm going to miss it sooooo soooo sooo very much. Woburn is a huge part of what made me who I am today... and for everyone who was there through it, even just the littlest bit, I thank you!

As for my friends, especially the gifties and the teachers I have no idea what I'll do without you guys next year!!! I'm at a complete loss for words (wow, that's shocking, that almost never happens :P) ... I'm not sure whether to be excited about all of these new doors opening up for me, or sad that I'm leaving so much behind...

... I'm sorry for the rambling-ness... but I'm still really just trying to digest it... I'm not even quite sure what I want to say... or what the point of this post was... I was originally just gonna catch up on everything I've been doing since the last blog... but well... yeah... I was suddenly just overwhelmed with... everything! There are just so many good memories that I doubt I'll ever forget... or if I do, I'm sure that one day, hopefully in the not so distant future, I'll encounter something or someone that'll dredge them all up... and I'll definately have a good laugh :P... Aww man... all that 90's music in the STEP office... We NEED to go Kareoke!!! ...Kav falling of her chair at Tommy's on saturday :P... the guys climbing in the windows when they were late for english... me climbing out of the window onto the roof in algeo... the guys "fishing" for Ben's waterbottle with rulers in calc... all of our crazy complaints about physics... Jesse's endlessly amusing physics tests: "Mrs Enright, what's this" "Mrs Enright, HELP!" "Mrs Enright, I wrote you a song, wanna hear it?" or the "grasshopper" :D... aww man... and those never ending Chem classes where Mrs Russell always managed to cram in an entire new CHAPTER in the last five to ten minutes of class... *shakes head*... I didn't think it was possible to cram that much information into my skull... I'm soo gonna miss all of our crazy bio classes... and our insane english trips... and just hanging out with the teachers during spares... and driving them crazy during class... our gifty end of year picnic was amazing and I'm sooo glad we did it!!! It just brought everything together in the end!!!

*sigh* All of those crazy times together during the years... whether in class or out... and when we were suposed to be in class but were out... the football games.. the basketball games... that soccer game against those random gino guys at meadowvale park... Early morning Timmy's Trips during bio... and all the other crazy stuff we managed to do... not the least of which was the girls dissecting (AKA playing with) a cow's eyeball while the guys hid in the library :P...

*shakes head* it's been an amazingly fun ride and I'm gonna miss you all more than I can truly say! Never fear though, (or maybe you should *evil grin*) I'll definately come back and visit every chance I get... and never doubt that that will be often! and I know everyone is gonna be coming over to visit me in Oxford next year right?!?! :P

With Love,
Ally

Oops..!

*laughs*... I woke up in the middle of the night after yesterday's blog and realised that I had forgotten to mention *dumdumdum* FOOTBALL!!! How could I have?!?! *laughs* ... but no, I'm on the team again, and it's been sooo much fun!!!... and this year I'm playing Safety instead of Tight End which is actually more fun *shrugs* who knew? We've actually had a pretty good season so far... or up until Agincourt beat us as soundly as they did last week *winces* that was not pretty... So far Mr. Rooney's forced me to sit out 3 games due to ear infections/fluid in my ears *wrinkles nose* I don't know why, It's not as though having no balance and falling while walking and twisting your ankle and pulling all the muscles in your foot... twice *blushes*... impairs your ability to play football in anyway :P... but yeah... the whole fluid in ear thing really doesn't help my natural clumsiness... I actually fell off my chair in chem... and I was just sitting there!!! *sighs*... ah well, it was funny...

And AHH!!! Omg!!! how could I have forgotten to mention my courses this year... I think I'm nuts for taking them btw... even if they are fun... and I do have two lovely spares *grins*... and up until last week there was a late start every tuesday which was even nicer :)... but yeah... I went alll gifted 'cause I'm apparently crazy :P. I did: Algeo w/Mr. Mo, Calculus W/Mr. Chan, Bio w/Rooney, Physics w/Mrs Enright, Chem w/Mrs. Russell and English w/Mrs Billinghurst... tho I also crash Ms. Mo's Eng class a lot *evil grin*... but yeah... it's been fun... though I'm sure you can see why 90+% in each course is killing me *dies again*... ...*groans and lies still for a bit, then glance around to make sure that no one's watching *... ... ...*jumps back up a moment later*... *dusts herself off* anyhow... I think I'm gonna go stretch... (you know that rigger mortis really tightens the muscles :P... *blushes*... sorry, I had to... it was just... right there *points up to part in the last sentence*...) okay, really, really, I am going now! *ducks the rotten tomatoes, vegetables and other random gourd-like things being thrown in her general direction*

Ttfn,
Ally

Wow!

I guess saying "it's been a while" would be a major understatement *cringe*

I did make it up the CN Tower in under 29 mins... 24mins 11s to be exact, a full 5 mins 5s less than my previous best time, so that was happy ;D... Oh wow... alot has happened since then... life's been a bit hectic... alot of fun *grins* but a bit hectic... oddly enough, for once I don't have any big trips to talk about... well... I did go to NYC for a couple of days in November... I was there for my Oxford interview... yes, I know, odd isn't it? I apply for University in England and my interview is in the states :P...

But yeah, I'd never been to New York before, so it was quite exciting and I dragged my mother all over the city... on foot *evil grin*... did all the typical things: saw ground zero, went into Tiffany's... had breakfast ... saw battery park, when to times square Which is CRAZY btw... omg! It's as bright as day in the middle of the night!!! And nowhere before have I ever seen a human display of "safety in numbers"... the pedestrians just sort of encroach on the road until they take it over completely and block all of the traffic... it's fascinating to watch... and lots of fun to do!!! We also saw "Fiddler on the Roof", which was absolutely astounding!!! and met Rosie O'Donnell which was pretty cool, she's as awesome in real life as on TV, funny too! My interview went... well... it was fun... more like a class than an interview... and at the time I didn't think it went well... but it appears that it did!!! *jumps up and down* ... heehee... so I'm in... well, sorta... not yet... I need 90+% in all of my courses... which is pretty much well... *dies*... so I really hope I can make it!!! if not I'll hopefully be at UBC doing some skiing *grins*. I didn't get into Harvard or Stanford... not exactly shocking, I didn't expect too... they usually don't accept morons :D...

Anyhow, Christmas came and went and I had fun spending time with family and getting presents... Linna and I did a pointe piece together for the school 'Holiday' Assembly which was alot of fun, and we sang the music council version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for the last time... Took emily to see that Twyla Thwarp/ Billy Joel musical while it was here... the second half of that was amazing!!! ... there was no trip this year :( but hey! you can't have everything! Instead I had some really good snowball fights, got soaked to the bone and refrozen again numerous times *glares at Lagan and Evan evily. You two both sooo deserve to die*... climbed some trees... yes *shifty eyes* in the middle of winter... had more snowball fights... worked on my first New Years at home in years... but that was cool 'cause I was still around ppl... got back in time for midnight and then went toboganning/rolling around in the snow with Kat which was wayyyy more fun that you'd expect...

This winter had some fun parties... watching some of the gifties get drunk for the first time probably made my year *grins* *cough*Ting*cough*... We took Kat to see "The Boyfriend" for her b-day, which was really really cute! and her first musical - so, lot's of fun *grins*... I dragged Kaitlyn, Gillian, Lagan and Alan up to Collingwood to go skiing with me over the March break and we had an awesome time... and no sleep thanx to Lagan's lovely little penchant for making us scream in the dark *glares again**shakes head* I swear, one of these days I really will kill that boy... not only is he brilliant and nearly perfect... he's... well... brilliant and nearly perfect *glares and wrinkles nose*... he should be outlawed :P...

We put on plays in English, I did 'A Streetcar Named Desire"... I directed, abridged the play to 45minutes, and played Stella... so that was a bit of a crazy time... lot's of fun tho... and my group was great - despite thier being a bunch of lazy bums :P , but, no, I love them all and it was great fun... as was watching every body else's plays. They were all absolutely amazing... and we topped last year's plays by a long shot!!!

My 18th b-day came and went... we made a wonderfully colourfully-hazardous b-day cake... which ppl claimed reflected my personality... though I have no idea what they were insinuating *looks innocent* ... man do I feel old though... and I still haven't gotten my full G lisence yet... *sigh*... I should prolly get on that...

Anyhow, my mom got married on March 25 in a lovely little ceremony... the food was very very very yummy... I kept eating off her plate once I'd finished mine *looks angellic*... prolly not the best thing to have done at the head table... *giggles* ... and there was no dancing!!! really, what is a wedding without the dancing?!?!?! *shakes head*

I was back in New York over Easter with the Drama, Dance and Art departments from school and we had a great time running around the city. I saw more of Central park... which is absolutely stunning btw, just gorgeous... and the statue of liberty - which I was not allowed to climb *pouts* ... and went shopping... and saw "The Complete Works of Shakespeare - Abridged" which was hysterical, and "Threepenny Opera" which was pretty cool... all in all it was an awesome trip! and I got to spend quality time with ppl I hadn't hung out with in years... and spent most of the time dying of laughter... aww man, I'll miss everyone sooo much next year... I really can't believe that it's almost done... the year has just flown by... it's just... gone!...

... my last recital is in two weeks, formal/prom is in three... and then exams... and then... I'm done... out of public school forever... and off to University... somewhere... I'm not sure where yet... hopefully England... it's just... surreal really... I haven't quite grasped the concept yet... so yeah... that's pretty much it... *nods* and now I'm just sitting here listening to my oldies and wondering how long it'll be before they're considered classical :D... oh, wait! they're already 'classic rock' :P

Anyhow, I'm off to dance around.
Lot's of love,
Ally

What to type, what to type

... I donno, the blog was just looking a little forlorn and I needed to wind down after work... hmmm... lesse... I guess I should start off by saying that I'm still alive (despite all efforts to change that fact :P) and that I had an absolutely awesome summer and learnt a whole bunch of stuff about... well everything... but, mostly who I am... Thanx to everyone who was part of it, I love you guys and I wish I'd gotten to know you all better (and stayed up latter and hung out more... stupid needing sleep lol)... nah.. Spain and France were awesome though... as was England with my mother... the rest of the summer (or what was left of it) was pretty good too...
... then came this year... THE year... and school... and work (which is actually lots of fun)... and yeah... and Dance which feels crazy empty with only the five of us who are left... and just loads and loads of stuff... it's all good tho, I'm enjoying it... Not quite sure how coherent this blog is... but *shrug* whatever... it's me :D

... hmmm... I think I'll leave the actual details and fun stuff for next time... much too tired to make sense... and tomorrow is the stair climb!!! WooHOO!!! soo much fun :P... heehee 1776... and I hope it still only takes me 29 mins with my body as screwed up as it is... hmmm.. I should prolly get dome sleep... nah... anyways... I'm off to stretch...

The horribly busy but still lazy,
Ally

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

... So why is it that everyone complains when I don't blog, but no one can be bothered to comment when I do??? :P.

Anyways, I figured I should do an update sometime before I left, and considering that I leave Sunday, I figured now would be a good time to do it *looks shifty*... So yeah, I survived Gr 11. Had fun on all of my exams, especially physics which I learnt the morning of... and bio which I finished in 20mins and annoyed the class enough to beg Mr Rooney to let me out early :D... and then allow me to look over the answer sheet :D... Recital was also fun. Not as good as last year's, and I don't so much like having two shows but, *shrug*, still good.
... not much else exciting has happened... went bowling, saw madagascar - which isn't nearly as good as Mr & Mrs Smith which is just, plain, awesome... had fun at Alan's party and played around in the pool and hot tub - yes, I know it's summer :P... got my marks... average was 88.5% so I'm rather happy :)... uh... relaxed... relaxed some more... finally read & saw Fight Club, which was also an awesome movie (must have something to do with Brad Pitt :D)... Read Tuesday's With Morrie which is a great book that everyone should read... read Canticle for Leibowitz which was also fun... ...uh... basically I read alot while lying on my back porch... Ju came over, we did a movie/sleep over night... then last night some neighbours down the street did fireworks ( it was a day early so who knows why...) so Jenny, Christine and I had fun watching those and being eaten alive by mosquitoes *wrinkles nose*.
... so yeah... I finally got my nice, relaxing and uneventful week... the one that I've been dying for almost all year... very, very Happy!!! :D... and now, I'm off to Spain & France (& England) for the summer to do Philosophy and Engliush Lit in summer school - and yes, I know I'm going to spain and france for english :P.

Hope everyone has an awesome summer. Take lots of pictures and remember lots of embarassing stories. I'll c-ya when I get back.
Lot's of Love,
Ally

FUN-NESS!!!

... it's odd how I always end up blogging when I really should be writing essays... I mean, really, it's still writing... meh *shrug*...

... anyways... the past two weeks have been absolutely crazy... Music banquet on the 26th was sooo much fun... you wouldn't think so, but it was awesome... I went as one of Langan's three dates... which was just pure jokes... especially when the teachers started teasing him about not knowing what to do with us... then picture day at the studio all weekend... which was actually a hell of a lot calmer then usual... of course, I just found out that the last four rolls of film got screwed so we have to shoot them all over again... not all that surprising - something was bound to go wrong :P...
Tuesday was Athletic banquet... I honestly didn't think it was possible for awards presenters to talk for that long... anyways... it was fun seeing everyone all dressed up... (again for those of us who went to music) and everyone looked SOOO pretty... damn Kelly and her gorgeous dress... no one should be allowed to look that hot :P... lol...
... Then it was thursday... OMG... thursday!... thursday was prom... I didn't go... so I get home from dance, shower, stretch and get to bed at around eleven thirty... at 1:30 am I was woken up by Corey phoning me to tell me that the after party had started... then Kav called to tell me the same thing as I was stumbling 'round the house trying to get dressed... OMG!!! the after party was sooo funny... soo many ppl were sooo smashed/stoned/both... *shakes head* awww, man, it was great... I kept getting yelled at for not being drunk ... lol... it was soo good... dammit! I'm soo gonna miss all of you guys when you're not around next year!... anyways so we watched the sun rise... talked about sleeping... and never went to bed... let me tell you, trying to understand physics and reading drama lines after not having had sleep in over 40hrs does not work. at all. I'm surprised my notes are as coherent as they are... so anyways.. got home friday night... went to bed... and woke up in time to be at work at the studio at 8:30 saturday morning... I sooo need more sleep... especially since I didn't get home from Langan's b-day party until 11:30 last night... heehee... that was fun too!... omg, that half of a dog-statue-thing is absolutely hysterical... we sooo needed a camera for that!!! ... *sigh* *shakes head* ... it was sooo great tho... I sooo wouldn't've changed what I did for the world...

... so yeah... I'm kinda dead right now... kinda, very dead... especially with all of the crazy amount of summatives I have going on... I had three in class exams in a row on tuesday... and I've had soo many projects and I assignments that I don't remember half of them... and I'm not invited to math luncheon this year *pouts* I missed being in the top 25 percentile for the Cayley contest by two points... two points ... ah well, whatever...

OOOH!!! Queen's! I almost forgot Queen's!!! omg... how could I have... it was amazingly fun... I transferred half way through from Biology of Human Behavior into Drama Improv... I got bored after three hours about neurons... honestly... we only really needed the first half hour or so to understand... anyways... it was still awesome... and kareoke was crazy fun... the dance was pretty lame... but meh *shrug* didn't exactly expect anything more... lmao! omg... Kavvy!!! I love Kav... she totally got Leila's Football... our game ball... stuck on the roof for like 2 days... we had fun tho... it was soo great... ooh and in football (flag) we actually came in 3rd in the league... 3rd!... before this year... the woburn girls had scored 2 points in 2 years... so yeah it was amazing... and I had sooo much fun... we were such a great group... we soo have to do it again next year... only next year we wont have Webby and Tamara and Alison... and awww, noo, :'( ... I'll miss you guys, it soo wont be the same...

soo... uh yeah... that's pretty much it... that and the 3 more assignments, 1 more scene study, 5 more exams and 3 dance shows I still have to do... I soo can't believe that this year is over soo fast... I mean... it feels like it just started... I remember how, at the beginning, I had fun, but I didn't feel like I was really enjoying myself... and it still felt like it was going fast... but now... it just feels like it's gone too fast... and I had sooo much fun... and there are soo many people that I'm really going to miss... especially with dance... can you really believe that it's almost over? ...
...*shakes head*... I love the feeling of building up to something, of having all this stuff that needs to be done... and then having it happen and just feeling satisfied and happy... but at the same time, it kinda feels like everything is just... ending... and it's kinda scary... especially the fact that I'm gonna be in gr12... that's gotta be the scariest thing... it makes me feel soo... old... I mean, I always knew that I would get there someday... but... I still feel like I'm 15/16 yrs old... like I'm only in gr10... not like I'm almost done gr11 and have my own car... it's... rather... mind boggling... and all those ppl that I've known for so long who are going away... I really am gonna miss you guys...

So... yeah... I should prolly be off to write about the Etruscans...
Hopefully I'll be able to blog again sometime soon.
Ally

P.S. OMG!!! I almost forgot!!! I made it onto next years SAC as an assistant!!! and Congrats to Kavita for getting VP and Arini and Roshne for getting Gr12 reps!!!

*Is all excited*

Look!Look! I'm actually blogging!!! and it hasn't even been six months yet!!! lol :P... but, no, really... I'm supposed to be writing an English essay on the Heroic Identity... but I got lazy and decided I'd come check out my blog and... well... write here instead *shifty eyes* ...wow... it's been soooo long since I did an actual proper blog that I've practically forgotten how to do one! *gasp* ...

hmmm... where to start... so far this year's been pretty good... the total-science-math-focus/lack-of-humanity-essay-writing-thing took a lil' getting used to... and my marks still aren't great (tho I had a 98 in history for a while there :)... it sorta died tho... might a been those assignments I didn't fully do *looks innocent*) but, no, I'd don't think I can complain... fall and winter were pretty good... my Elementary Jazz exam went well... it was actually rather fun... ... OOOH!!! and I got to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" while it was in town!!! which totally rocked... and the Tap Dogs too!!! OMG, they were AMAZING!!! I sooo wish I could do that!!! "Little Dragon" was good as well... oooh... and I saw Cirque's "Allegria" this summer, which was really, really good...
... My mom and I went on a cruise of the south Carribean for new years, which was pretty awesome... we had great weather, and the ship was massive!!! it had like 14 stories... and, of course, I insisted on always taking the stairs... I always beat my mom and the elevators too!:P ... it was really cool tho... it had absolutely everything!!! including a little shopping street-like thoroughfare... I kept calling it vegas on a ship... Our days at sea were sooo great and involved me alternatively lying on a deck chair reading, and swimming in the ocean-fed pool... the nightlife was pretty good too, especially 'cause there was a rediculously large ammount of ppl my age onboard... our land days were equally great w/ hiking in San Maarten, snorkling and sightseeing in St Thomas, off roading in Aruba, and shopping/sightseeing and snorkling in Curacao... aww man, snorkling is awesome!!! I'd never done it before, and I panic if I'm wearing the mask above water, but once you're in there, it's absolutely amazing!!! I totally loved it!
I swear, falling asleep to the rhythm of the waves is absolutely one of the most relaxing things in the world... it was really great too 'cause the only rough day was New Year's Eve... there was a storm and the ship was rocking like crazy, but it was sooo much FUN!!!

So anyways, I came back from that with a killer tan... and a much more relaxed and happier attitude (which I'd somehow lost at some point this year, though no one seemed to noticed) ... winter funness continued on... Gillian and I spent quite a few Friday nights skating w/ppl at the rink and Ju and I had sooo many movie nights... Exams went pretty well.... and, OMG! we had sooo much fun dragging the guys out to go skiing on one of our free days!!! It was sooo great!!! there ended up being like 8 of us... *shakes head* we totally need to do that again next year!!!... aw man... and then there was March Break... which was late this year... I can't believe the snow actually stayed!!! I was sooo excited! I spent the first half of the break skiing up at blue mountain w/my cousins (not exactly the rockies but, hey, skiing is skiing) ... we had an awesome time skiing uncut trails through the trees and doing a natural half pipe... until we got cought and "warned" *looks innocent* really, there weren't any barriers!... so what if the trees were nearly impassible??? lol... it was all good tho... 'cause the "W"s written on my cousins' passes were very, very easy to rub off... but, yeah... so I basically spent most of the week crashing into trees and going over insane jumps... (on a hamstring with partially torn muscle fibre - which is a painful fact that I'm still trying to ignore :P) ...

OMG!!! how could I have forgotten!!! I finally got my G2... and I'm legally allowed to drive anywhere, anytime... and guess what came with that lovely little piece of plastic???... keys to a brand new 2005 Mazda3 GS model sedan!!!!... oooh, how I love my baby... and how I'd love her even more if I had money for gas *looks pleadingly toward mother* but, no, it's all good... after all, I have a car!!!.... scary ain't it?

... hmmm let's see... I don't know that I have any other news... oh... I went to the Kiwanis Dance Festival w/Jazzworks (Woburn's Jazz dance team) and we got a silver... we lost the gold by 1% 'cause we were wearing hats *pouts*... but it was still a pretty cool experience... ... and oooh... lol... I'm now known around the school as "that ditzy cheerleader"... for my role in my schools "Spirit Week" Assembly... man, was that skirt ever short! I totally LOVE acting that stupid... it's so fun and liberating!!! ... I'm soo glad that I didn't overload the make up tho!!! ...I went downtown right afterwards to rock climb...

... and yeah.. I think that's about it... good thing too... I really do need to write that essay!

P.S. I'm going to Queens again!!!! yay!!! This year I'm taking Bio of Human Behaviour, which should be awesome... I hope its as good as Archeology was last year... and the all night "sleepovers" should be fun... man... I wish everyone were going back.... it's soooo great... I totally can't wait!!!

P.P.S. I saw "Wicked" last week... it is sooo amazingly awesome!!! I don't think I can stress how good it was!!!

...

... yeah... so... I really haven't blogged in a while... and to be honest, I really don't know what to say... but the site's been looking rather lost and forlorn lately, so I thought I'd liven it up...

...in any case... Happy (belated) Birthday - both to me and to the blog... and um... yeah... that's about it... no wonder I never blog anymore...
... anyways, I should be off to finish an english project ... ttfn.

... long time no blog...

wow... it's been quite a while... six whole months... well ok, minus a week if I want to be exact...

... yeah, so... I honnestly don't even know where to start... sooo much has happened... yet nothing has changed... ... ... where to start... let's see... I survived grade 10... did amazingly on the exams I didn't study for and not so well on those I did study for - lesson learnt there: don't study, go out and play. ... Recital was awesome... I danced well... did crapily at the rehersals though...
...I was off in Greece and Italy for a month, which was just awesome... met lot's of people... desprately missed dance and trapeze= started to go insane... I have no Idea how I survived going to bed between 1 & 2:30 every night and waking up at 6:30 every morning... I do know, however, that I don't think I'll ever be able to do it again... NOTE: Baklava and Gelato are so not healthy for you... Especially if you're having it Twice a day... but damn, it just tastes Sooooo good!!! classes on the beach we're amazing, the scenery and ruins were surreal and breathtaking & the people were great... all in all it was a very fun experience...
... eventually though, I got home... and it felt like I never left Italy... it was off the plane, and straight to my grandmother's house - where all my Italian relatives were speaking Italian and eating Italian food... it was just a little unnerving...
... I got a nice week at home before Marc came up from Florida... damn you for leaving us Marc, We Miss You!!! Spending the week with Marc and Em and Jess and never seeing my house was Crazy-Fun but it went by wayyy too fast... the zoo-walking downtown-shopping for "Canadian stuff"-bubble tea & Smothies!!! DAMMIT MARC! Get back up here!!! lol
... After sending Marc back to Florida in time for the Hurricane, My mom and I were off to Boston and Cape Cod... can we say Shopping Spree?!?!... anyways... Cheers has amazing burgers and Boston is an amazing city... Havard's pretty cool... I think I might like to go there... sooo much desert though... and seafood... I love seafood... but... it was just... wow... Cape Cod was pretty cool, Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket... and the History of the entire area.... oooh... and Province Town... p-town was cool... they had some of the best t-shirt slogans there... Salem was awsome too... ... I ended up missing the Unique performance again this year... and by one planeflight too... argh!...
... The next thing on my summer list was four days straight of inclass driving lessons... not exactly my idea of fun... but they were actually a lot better than I expected, and the people were pretty cool... walking the 2 miles to get there and the 2 miles home also helped me fit back into my pants... honestly... I got home this summer and coouldn't fit into my pants... which everyone seemed to find absolutely hysterical (ok, fine so it was a lil' funny :P)... and my mother... you know what she said??? "Don't worry Ally, you get fatter every summer!"... in a happy, peppy bright voice too!!!... lol... I couldn't tell whether she was trying to cheer me up, or just trying not to jump up and down gleefully!... anyways... I now fit back into my clothes... with no thanks to all the laughing people :P - yes you know that's directed at you...
... anyways... I got a brake between the driving and "real" school with a one day trip up to the cottage... I mean, really... who goes to the cottage for ONE day??? ... well, appart from me. Anyways... it was awesome 'cause all of the familly was up there and we had four tubes behind the boat... the water was really rough though... and I must have fallen out atleast 10 times in the 4 hours we were out there... 10, compared to last years 1!... I had sooo much trouble getting back into the tube too... I hadn't realised just how weak I'd gotten w/out either Dance or Flying to keep me in shape... anyways It was lot's o fun, and I persuaded Matt to make me a bonfire again this year - mmmmmmm burnt marshmallows... they always taste best that way!!!... I just don't understand the people who ge me to make them golden brown.
... so yeah... I think that pretty much sums up my summer...

OMG!!! Queens!!! how could I have forgotten Queens... that was in May though, but still! it was Absolutely Awesome!!! We totally need to find a way to do it again this year!!! ... there are enough of us! we should totally just get our own bus!!! lol...

... so yeah... now... it's Gr11... crud, I'm starting to feel old... it's soo weird to be a senior... it just doesn't feel right... anyways... this year's schedule is Day 1: Physics w/Winfield, Hist-16th cent w/Dick, Drama w/Bignell & English w/Billinghurst, Day 2: Bio w/Rooney, French w/Kachur, Chem w/Russell & Math w/ Moliotsias... so yeah... I'm pretty happy w/ my teachers... the first actual day of school was awesome too... Mrs. Mo and Mrs. B arranged an all day - never-have-to-see-the-school, field trip downtown to see Hamlet- which was actually pretty good, and lot's and lot's of fun... gotta love great teachers... they were awesome to have at Queens too...

...anyways... it's been pretty good... I'm soooo glad to have started dance again!!! I was honnestly going insane without it... I don't know how I'd survive if I couldn't do it... I missed everyone over the summer too ... you guys are awesome!!! and I hate that this is the "beggining of the end" (Shannon's quote) ... it won't be the same without you!!!... we totally have to savour this year... and soo many ppl have left already ...On a brighter note... this year's ballet is awesome... if a little painful... (that adoge was killer... I soo cannot hold my leg in the air for 5mins...) ... Jazz is amazing!!!... I love the exam work... hopefully we'll be ready... It feels soo wierd to only have four classes, I really hope we get lyrical as well... I'm actually really surprised that my body's still alive... My knee's are killing me now though... oddly enough that didn't start until after I'd seen the orthopedic specialist this afternoon... ugh, somedays I just don't understand my body ...onto another thing I've missed immensly - Flying!!! I went down to the open friday last week and I was sooo happy to be back up there! I'm gonna start classes every wednesday and I just can't wait... I'd really love to learn arial, but the only level one classes they have also include acrobatics, and while I'd love to learn I'm not sure how my body would take it...

... "Yay" With The Non-Postage...

Uh... yeah... so... I haven't blogged in a while... um... funny... lot's has happened... I just can't be bothered to blog... in any case Happy very belated b-day to 'Livia... happy also belated b-day to my cousin Sarah-Beth... another happy belated B-day... this one to Sam... and last but not least... Happy Belated Birthday to... ALLY!!!...yay!!!... talk about frightening... I am now legally allowed to drive... me! - who can't see over the dashboard... ah well... funfun... the G1 test was absolutely and ridiculously easy... pathetically so...

... In other news, my skiing has improved drastically... I am now capable of skiing double black diamond glades in the Canadian Rockies... woohoo! go me!!!... my cousins and I skied them all week... I do not, however, even pretend to look good while skiing them... but hey... at least I can do them decently enough... *sigh*... what to say, what to say... my march break was awesome... I don't know how it couldn't be seeing as how my b-day pressie was a week long ski trip with my twin cousins to Panorama... *shakes head*... the skiing was sooo great... even if the locals found it a bit icy... meh... I hate powder anyways... though I have to admit... skiing Taynton Bowl (the powder bowl at Panorama) was fun...

... I don't think that there's much else to say... oh, wait... I got a Commended (70-80%) on my gr4 Jazz exam... yay... go me... I would have much preferred something higher... but seeing as how I had a sinus infection, an ear infection and absolutely no sense of balance - as in I actually fell over at one point and had a hell of a time turning... I'm very surprised that I even did that well... I personally thought I danced horribly... compared to how I usually dance anyways... and that I deserved a much lower mark... meh... whatever... the old CDTA Elementary jazz syllabus that we're doing now is deadly... extremely fun... but deadly all the same...

... Oh, yes... I know what else I forgot to mention... the Sunday I got back, Em tried to throw me a surprise party... I say tried because I've known about it almost as long as she has... well not known... suspected... but not really... just sort of... oh I don't think I can explain it... meh... anyways... as much as I hate birthday parties, or any party thrown in my honour, I had fun... I much prefer hosting the party... so long as it's not at my house... anyhow... in some ways it still turned out to be a surprise... Kimmerz was there, YAY!!!... that was a totally unexpected and delightful surprise...
yeah so... as far as big things in Ally's life go... I think the blog is pretty much up to date...

laughter

*sigh*... I'm still weak from laughing so hard last period... omg! I never thought english could be that funny... my class has officially managed to make Macbeth into a comedy... I spent atleast half of the period laughing so hard I was crying... *shakes head*... somedays I wonder how Ms. Mo puts up with us... then again she was in hysterics too... *sigh*... I'd explain the story better but my entire body is exhausted from lauging so hard... anyways in other news, I got new pointe shoes *YAY!!!* all pretty and pink and CLEAN... hard too... gotta love breaking in new pointe shoes *sarcasm oozes out*... yupyup... and guess what starts on friday... EXAMS!!! oh yay!!!... on the bright side I get over half of next week off...

SNOW!!!

*jumps around giggling and dancing*... it hasn't stopped snowing since I got home on sunday evening... and it's so gorgeous outside!!!... unfortunately it's also friggen' freezing... doesn't stop me from playing/walking around out there though *grin*... ... *sigh*... I feel like such a freak... after being out every night while I was in the Dom. Rep. I'm currently sitting at home at 10:30 on a friday night with nothing to do... *pouts*... Em's at Joey's... and it's too late to go across the street... I have no idea what anyone else is doing... tho I'm sure it has something to do with going to the movies... in which case, I'm not missing much... doesn't really matter anyways 'cause I couldn't stay out late... gotta be at the studio for 9 tomorrow... but still... it just feels weird after a week of partying...
... I had a great time on my trip by the way... funfunfun... getting out of bed at 8:30 (which for me is sleeping in...)... going down to the beach at around 9-9:30... lounging/tanning and reading with drink/food/walk-along-the-beach/shopping/play-in-the-waves brakes every so often 'til 'round 1-ish when my mom and I would search each other out and have some lunch... then it was back to the beach for some more tanning/reading... 'til a friend came along and we ended up back in the ocean or in the sand... then at around 3 I'd head over to the pool area for the "club dance" which was a silly little macareana (sp?) type thing that was just plain fun!... after that I'd go up to my room to change into shorts and a tank top so that I could fly (trapeze) 'til six... speaking of which, I caught 3 more layouts while I was there... woohoo go me!!!... after the trapeze closed I'd head back up to the room for a quick shower and change and to meet up with my mom... then it was down to the lounges/games room until around 8:30 when we'd go to the main buffet restaurant for dinner... I swear they had the best food I've ever had at a hotel or buffet anywhere... after some tea and desert I'd head to the theater to watch the preshow games and the show... I won a bottle of rum in one of the pre-show games *giggles*... then after the show me and some of the girls that I made friends with from Montreal would head down to the disco for some "dancy dancy" and in some cases some "drinky drinky" (I swear that's how the animation team (hotel social convener people) talked... *sniffsniff* I miss those guys... and the trapeze guys too... and the girls... )... I'd head up to bed at around 12:15-12:30-ish for some sleep... then wake up, and do it all again the next day... yupyup *sigh*... that's the life... I'd die to go back... it was so nice and relaxing...

well... I hope I've got you drooling... it would certainly make me feel better 'bout staying home on a friday night...
tata for now,
the ever so kind and caring,
Ally

BOO!!!

*sigh*... I really need to blog more don't I?... anyways... Christmas was great... X-mas eve with my mom's side was fun... all the kids insisting that they'd last until midnight before opening the presents... yeah... they lasted 'til ten... then my little cousin who only weighs about 40-someodd pounds trying to drink an entire glass of champagne on her own... *shakes head*... mmmm... and good food... crab... yummy... Then was x-mas day with my dad's side... which was equally fun... and where all us older kids watched the cartoon version of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"... *sigh* I love that movie... ...the only problem this year was that it was nearly impossible to get into the christmas mood... there was no snow!!! *pouts*... oh well... it did snow for a bit on the 25... but still... that doesn't count!... ...I'd have to say my favourite gifts were the lump of coal "for extra naughty boys and girls" from my uncle... and the rudolf and frosty movies from emily... yupyup... *nods* yes, I know... I'm strange...

well... I'm off... gotta go pack... we're leaving for the Dominican at 4:30 tomorrow morning so... Happy New Years!,
Ally

Christmas in 6days!!! woohoo!!!... uh and yeah... so... the place just looked a lil' dismal and I thought I'd cheer it up... guess you could take the lack of postage as a good thing... I mean... after all... I means I'm developing a social life right? ... anyways... just thought I'd wish everyone a merry X-mas break(even if ya don't celebrate it) and a Happy New year... so ya... there ya' go...

Paradoxical People

People really seem to despise life on this planet. And yet, we all contrive to stay on it as long as possible - longer even. Why?

...just a random thought... anyways... I must go back to my W.Rel. project...

... *sigh*...
I was bored and just meandering 'round the net, when I noticed that I hadn't blogged in forever, so, I continued meadering until I arrived here... and figured that I should say something...

... okay... there we go... I've said something, and now I can leave... but I won't... y'know it's really weird... I really hate writting, and yet, last year I was really into the whole blog thing... and now, I'm back to normal old me... well... that is, nornal for me... we all know that normal for me is extremely abnormal for just about everyone else on the planet... and now, I'm just babbling... why am I babbling? I have no idea... I'm assuming it has something to do with avoiding my english project... which, I probably really should be doing...

... it's weird... I feel like everything I'm writting about makes my life sound depressing... meh... life's great... it's just that I don't really feel like blogging all about the entertaining things that happen in my day anymore... I mean, who really cares?... not that I ever cared 'bout that fact... it was just fun to write... now it's tedious... *shrug* oh well... I almost feel the same about reading anything other than short romance/fluffy-girliness novels... argh! what's wrong with me... I soo badly want to read what I used to be able to read... which was just about anything... mostly sci-fi/ fantansy... but, it's like I'm all excited 'bout the book... I pick it up, start to read it... and then, half way in, get bored and turn into a giggly-teenage girl and put it down... and the worst part is, that I'm not bored, I really want to read the book, but I can't... it's like, anything deeper than, say a puddle, is far to deep... my mind get's all airy and brainless as if it were drowning and not getting enough oxygen... it's so damn annoying!!!... and here I go again... whining and making my life sound depressing... which is pathetic, 'cause it's really the complete opposite...

... speaking about it being the complete opposite... I Gots A New Baby Cousin!!!...heehee... he was born on Wednesday, his name is Keith, and I get to see him today... assuming of course, that I finish the hw that I'm putting off right now...

... lesse... what else is there to talk about... ...honnestly, it's sad... I never shut up... and here I'm having trouble thinking of what to say... meh... seems to happen everytime I have to write or type something... speaking is sooooo much more fun... 'cause, then people are forced to listen... well... not necessarily... most of my friends and family have developed the amazing ability of being able to pretend that they're listening, while actually thinking of something completely different, such as what colour shoes they're gonna buy next time they go shopping... or how they really love that new tv show... not that I have a problem with that... I mean... It's not exactly as if I actually listen to myself... my brain has usually gotten bored about two seconds into the "conversation" (if you want call it that... I usually do all of the talking...) and is off in some other dimension, trying to figure out how I'm gonna get my 20-somethingth meal of the day, and if the world is actually a hyperbolic paraboloid and not a sphere as they keep trying to make us believe... occaisionally, it comes back down to earth, and wonders if my mouth'll ever shut up so that it can get something intelligent in... like, say, asking the person I'm talking at whether or not they have any food...

*takes a breath and blinks as if coming out of a daze*

... okay... no clue where all of that came from... it seems that not only my mouth, but my hands as well, have a life of they're own... you people are just lucky that you are not forced to read all of this... on the other hand... since you are staring at this, I'm assuming that you have read it... and are therefore insane... whether you were before, or are now because of my babbling, is a completely irrelevant fact... unless of course, it was my babbling that drove you insane, which would probably mean that you find it very relevant and will be trying to kill me the next time I see you... if that is the case, please post a comment so that I can know to place you in the same category as homework, and avoid you at all costs... also, try to remember that insanity is a great place to be, and that you should love, not hate the person who sent you there...

and now, I must get back to my work,
So long,
From The Ever-So-Whatever-ish,
Ally

... not too much in this corner...
... I actually can't think of anything to talk about... other'n the fact that I'm bored outta my mind... and just sitting here like an idiot... hmm... what to say, what to say...
... lesse... school's actually not too bad... better'n I thought it would be... but just watch, now that I've said that, it'll get worse... ...what else is there... hmmm... me, being my normal crazy self... bought a pink candy-stripped top when I was at the mall on friday... it's quite hideous... looks gorgeous on me though, soo... heeheehee... pink, candy-stripe & gorgeous... ... anyways... just thought I'd do a little update... but I've done it now... so I guess that leaves me free to go...

So Long,
From The Ever So Wonderful,

... Hello again...
Been a while since I last blogged hasn't it... back to school today... funfun... well, not really... schedule goes as follows:

Day 1 -
Science
Careers/Civics
LUNCH
French
English

Day 2 -
World Religions
Math
LUNCH
Canadian History
Intro to Anthropology, Sociology and Psycology

... I swear that they're trying to kill me... My four core subjects are gifted and the other three are gr 11... my easiest course (apart from car/civ) is gr 11 gifted french... Argh!!! I'm so mad that I don't have drama... oh well, next year... Also I kinda wanted to spend less time on schoolwork this year and just relax before I have to start stressing *sigh* guess that one's not happening... Anyways, so far my teachers seem pretty nice... so it shouldn't in any way be a bad year (well, 'cept for the work overload thing) ...
... had a pretty good summer... trapeze for the first four weeks, then two weeks off, then a three week journey around Peru... which was really pretty cool... the only problem is that I've been really active all summer, and then suddenly, I'm back in school... sitting there doing nothing but listening to teachers ramble on about thier courses... I mean, I know it's important, but it's really really annoying to have absolutely nothing to do after quite literally, running around wild all summer...

... I'm sorry, I'm not usually this down... and I've usually got atleast one interessting thing to say... I guess I'm really just pretty exhausted right now...
The Horribly Tired and Worn,

Ally has had complaints...
about the fact that she hasn't blogged in a while... and the fact that she talks way too much elsewhere but hardly at all here... thus she is going to do a quick update-torial blog...

um... let's see... hmmm... well, she had her end of session trapeze show, where she did a gorgeous layout catch... no return... and um... yah... she's leaving for Peru on friday... and won't be back 'til school starts... if she happens to never come back... blame it on her mom... she want's to canoe the amazon...

okay... that's it... that's my summer so far...
'ya happy now???

Sorry I haven't blogged in so long...
I've been kinda busy... and with the comming of summer I've been outside more and more, and on the compy less and less... also, my brain has decided that as it is summer, it will be going into complete ditz mode - as oppose to the regular, semi-ditz mode... this means, that it will not partake in any intellectual activities what-so-ever... well... reading not included... (hey, I need to keep it occupied somehow)... and even then, the deep, thought provoking books will be mixed in amoung nice, fluffy, easy stuff... because of this, I will probably not post very much this summer...

Have fun,
Ally

Tuesday, May 06, 2003

Hihi's...
sorry I haven't posted in so long... I've been kind of busy...

... I just read over my post script about the looting of museums in Iraq, I think I sounded a little more calous than I meant to be... I mean, in no way would I ever want my family to die, but honestly that type of history, when it's the only stuff left in the world that could give us clues to our beginings... well, I value that more than my own life (then again, if I were dead it wouldn't matter, would it? ...which I gues is kind of a paradox...*shrug*) so I donno...

... my math teacher decided a few days ago that we were done the curriculum for this year, so we should start learning trig... I think it's the easiest thing we've done all year... then, today she was pretending to pour coffee on my head, so I jumped up, and went flying halfway across the room... she later told my science teacher to not let me out of my seat incase I went flying yet again...

... hmmmmmm... lets see... in other news... oh! ... I saw the strangest thing the other day... I've seen lot's of people get on the ttc stoned... and I've seen lot's pf people smoke while on it... which pisses me off to no end... especially when they're sitting right under a "no smoking sign", do they not have any respect? there are so many kids on the bus... how can they do that? ... anyways... so this guy get's on the bus... walks to the back... and starts smoking weed!!! ... honnestly! how strange is that... everyone was so stunned that no one said a word... it's not suprising that the driver didn't smell it, 'cause lot's of people get on the bus smelling like weed (in the mornings too... just how bad are their lives that they need to get stoned at eight in the morning?) ... but still!!!

well... I really gotta go...
it's been nice talking/typing at you,

*sigh*... I'm bored... and not tired at all... *sigh*...

I just read "An Ancient Civilization" by Acey... it gooooooooooood... it's here at fiction press... and she'll prolly kill me for giving you the link... but the story is absolutely hillarious... though you'll only really understand it if you Canadian...

yup... I should probably go...

Ally has finished her english article ... yay!!!

heeheehee... if anyone tried to talk to me on msn today, this is what they got...
...bored... auto-message: Ally is busy, she is doing her english project-assignment-thingy, she has been stalling for the past 6 or 7 days... please do not try to talk to her, as it would allow her to get distracted - taking even more of her brain power away from her work... this would be especially unproductive seeing as how we all know that she doesn't have very much intelligence to start with, this gives her work a very limited suply and so, she cannot spare the single brain cell needed to talk to you...

yupyup... so anyways... I just thought I'd post that...

bye-d-byes,
The Increasingly Odd and Incomprehensible,
Ally

On a lighter note...

I got bored earlier... I seem to do that often... just like going off on tangents... I do that all the time while I'm talking, when I'm writting and reading too... though luckily for my readers, when I'm writting I tend to do it in my head... well... most of the time anyways... getting back on track... because of my boredom I decided it would be fun to read online dictionaries... *Note - Ally is confusing "fun" with avoiding her english project at all costs* ... I happened to stumble upon "The Devil's Dictionary", it's absolutely hillarious... it was written by Ambrose Bierce in 1906, and the definitions are still true today!!! ... it's basically a satirical dictionary... I found these two deffinitions extremely funny:

OPTIMISM, n. The doctrine, or belief, that everything is beautiful, including what is ugly, everything good, especially the bad, and everything right that is wrong. It is held with greatest tenacity by those most accustomed to the mischance of falling into adversity, and is most acceptably expounded with the grin that apes a smile. Being a blind faith, it is inaccessible to the light of disproof -- an intellectual disorder, yielding to no treatment but death. It is hereditary, but fortunately not contagious.

and

PESSIMISM, n. A philosophy forced upon the convictions of the observer by the disheartening prevalence of the optimist with his scarecrow hope and his unsightly smile.

heeheehee... I could go on about how true they are... but I won't... I think it's pretty obvious to all....

I know I haven't blogged much lately... but I hope to blog again soon...
Ally

ps. Oh, about the looting of museums in Iraq.... NO! you do not do that, you just don't... I personally don't hold any love for museums... but all of that history lost, distroyed or stolen is almost physically painful to think about... why the hell didn't those ass-holes in Washington do something to protect them??? ... honnestly, as calous as this sounds, I don't care how many more soldiers would have been killed protecting the museums... I'd let my whole family die before I'd let someone destroy that much history and knowledge!
*sigh*... I'm feeling kinda philosophical... but I don't really want to write about it...

I was catching up on my blog reading, when I stumbled across an old(ish) post of Evan's about existentialism(beleiving that all people are free(not bound by a supernatural being) and are responsible for their own actions) and atheism(not beleiving in any godlike figure), and about what Friedrich Nietzsche (that's a nightmare to spell) said - "God is dead, therefore man is free." ... Evan was saying how not beleiving in any sort of deity would leave no purpose in your life, giving you a hollow, empty feeling. In some ways this is true, I mean, I'd like to think that there was some meaning for my life, that I live for a reason... on the other hand, that reason could be extremely small and pathetic, and yes it would be something to live up to, but what about when I acheived that, would I be allowed to go further and explore? ... Or, upon achieving what was desired of me and living out my usefulness, would I die?
... personally, I'm a mix of beliefs and philosophies, I have not yet decided exactly what I choose to believe about anything. This is rather odd seeing as how I'm a "why" person and need to know the why of everything immediately or I feel that I'll just die (and after that, I need to know the when, who, where and how... but I generally enjoy figuring those out on my own... I think another way to describe "why" people is nosy... though I prefer curious or adventurous) ... then again, the fact that I'm nosy might explain why I'm still "sitting on the fence"... this way I get to hear everyones ideas and philosophies and consider them all equally and unobjectively... plus, I'd like to be able to explore and experience them all before I choose, that way I'll know that I've chosen the right one... or maybe I won't... none of us really will until we die... and even then we might not... that's another fun thing to consider... what happens after we die...
I know the empty feeling Evan's talking about, the one you get by not beleiving in anyting... It's pretty horible... I don't experience it much... I'm more agnostic than anything... for those of you who don't know... that's beeing deliberately ignorant, and refusing to agree whether or not there is a godlike thing hanging around... I don't really follow the ignorant part though, since I enjoy contemplating all of the different philosophies... the only thing I really know for sure, is that I have a limited time on this earth... in this particular body anyways... and that I intend to travel, explore and experience as much as possible, physically and mentally while I'm still around to do it... who knows, maybe all my adventures and escapades will lead me to a higher understanding... and if they don't, who cares... at least I spent my life doing and thinking exciting and enjoyable things that I won't regret...

Philosophically Yours,
Ally

Happy Easter/Passover/Whatever-You-Celebrate!!!

Sunday, April 13, 2003

I had the oddest dream last night... I'll admit it freaked me out... I donno why though.... the dream it self wasn't really scary...

We had this supply tech teacher, and he decided that we hadn't learnt electricity properly, so he decided to take us all out, and by all I mean every single gr.9, even those who weren't in tech... and have us wire the whole town as a parallel circuit... strange, I know... so anyways, I eventually gathered that he was planning on blowing up the town (can you do that using a prallel circuit?) ... I started telling everyone what was going on, but it was like they couldn't stop or something... for some strange reason that didn't bother me at all... not until I got this horrible feeling that something/someone was going to die if I didn't get them out, appearantly there had been an evacuation warning for all the families before hand, but this thing had missed them... so, so far the dream had been pretty normal... well as far as dreams go anyways... but then when I was looking for the thing to save... which I'm pretty sure was a dog... it was like I couldn't do anything, I just kept running around in circles in a giant maze... now, usually I like the maze type dreams, their fun... but after a while this just got tedious... usually when something like this happens I can sort of semi control the dream if i have to... but as soon as I tried moving off my "path" I woke up... okay so the dream still isn't to scary... I told you it wasn't... but when I fell back asleep the dream just started over again from the begining... that was the odd/scary part... no matter where I tried to control the dream I would wake up... then fall back asleep and the dream would start again... in the end I eventually let myself run in circles 'till time was up and I don't think it ever ended... but man, when your used to beeing able to nuge your dreams onto the right path... it's really freaky when something like this happens...

oh well, gtg...

I'll blog sometime soon (hopefully),
Ally

*sigh*

... well... not much has been happening lately... life been kinda... well... I can't really say dull or boring... it's been kinda like a relaxing break... if you don't count the rush to do four assignments and two projects...

I really don't have anything in particular to talk about...wow, that's a first (note the sarcasm)... and I'm not really in the mood to blog... so I guess I'll go now...

I got my report card today...
I actuallly have an 81% overall average... it would be a lot higher if gym weren't 67%!!! oh well... that's okay... it's still an A...

OOOh, you know my presure/sinus headaches that are sorta but not really migranes? ... my mom's trying to convince me to drink coffee every morning 'cause caffeine "helps" ... it does... GAH! ... it's soooo annoying... pain killers just make them worse... well except extra-strength midol... it has 60mg of caffeine in it... I just don't want to take them 'cause I'm scared of over using them... I don't want to become immune... I kinda need them for other things... they're the only things that work! ... it's funny... I need caffeine, so I keep eating chocolate... but then I get sick... (I'm after all semi-lactose intolerant)... why is this funny? I have nooo clue... sad... *sigh*... heeheehee... I love midol... it's my savior... I found out about it having caffeine when I was reading the ingrediants before exams last year... gotta love the exam tips about not changing your schedule or your caffeine intake around exam time... sorry but it was pretty inevitable... I kinda had to... no real choice there... unless of course, you wanted me taking exams doubled over with pain... heeheehee... I had lot's of caffeine today... and guess what??? hardly any headaches... yay!!! ...unfortunately I'm now wide awake and exhausted at the same time... have been all day actually... it really isn't a good combination... I haven't been able to form one single coherent sentence yet... then again... I'm never able to form a reasonably short and understandable sentence... I mean look at my blog... my whole paragraph is a sentece... and even when I start a new paragraph... it's not necessarily a new sentece... I really think I should go... this is really just a bunch of gobble-d-gook... not that I don't usually end up typing that anyways...

Shout Outs - Happy Belated Birthday To Koda/SY
- Happy Early Birthday To Jess (since I will be at her house and wont be able to type it then)

Oh, Yes... I almost forgot... I will kill all of my friends that drove by me today after school while I was waiting at the bus stop... why will I kill them do you ask... because they had the nerve to laugh at me!!! and they didn't even bother to offer me a ride :( ... I'm pretty sure the car was full... but still!!!

As I sat here munching on buttered toast... I realised that this was fast becoming a weekly ritual... not the buttered toast, but my sundays... this is the second sunday in a row where I'm wearing a skirt! and not just that, but every sunday for a while now has been my "relax and do chores/projects day"... I mean those don't sound relaxing... but they are... as long as you don't start getting uptight about them...

... hmmmm... haven't blogged in a while... let's see... dance recital in 12wks... soooooo not ready... Friday night I went to the movies with Jubaloo... haven't seen her in forever we went to see "Bringing Down The House" it was actually alot better than I thought it would be... the whole theater spent the whole movie laughing... I had to bury my face in Ju's shoulder quite a bit... damn ppl emberassing themselves... it make me squirm... and I mean squirm!... gah... half the time I can barely watch friends... ugh! and then this ugly guy outside tried to hit on us... *shudders*

... Saturday me and Em went shopping... YAY!!! after walking through the rain and waiting (do they ever come on time?) for the bus... I got a whole buch of "under garments"... I noticed that corsets, of all things, are coming back in style... oh, well... I think they're comfy... some day's I love being female... (and others... well...) I also got two pairs of shorts, a summer dress (I know, I know) and a top... Em got a bunch of stuff too... oooooh that reminds me... she owes me $20... soo anyways... after a while we bumped into some friends of mine and we all hung out for a bit before being forced to take the ttc home... as if taking it there wasn't enough ...my cousins came over for dinner... it was fun... we watched two disney movies (No! I am not too old for them) ... ya sooo...

and then today... did my math ISU... which was actually FUN... umm... ... hmm... ooooooh! I just put together my new bookcase.. yes another one... I now have 5 in my room... heeheehee... but ouchy! my rib is hurting me... I had it put in yesterday mornin' but then shopping and heavy bags popped it out... doing the bookcase by itself (heeheehee... that was a typo but I think I'll leave it... "it" kinda suits me...) prolly didn't help at all... *sigh* ... I donno why I'm happy... I really have no reason to be... I is in pain... *shrugs* ... it's me... I think that pretty much explains everything...

well... bye-d-byez,

Hmmm...
you know... I was thinking... I think (wow! you do? really?) that I should start doing a "Postly Tip" ... not tip as in pointy, "ouch" tip... tip as in hint... at first I thought I'd do one daily... but I don't post daily... I post postly... but hey!... I don't want to have to tip postly (I'm cheap)... so it's going to be a selectively postly tip (don't you wish you could do that with real tipping... like money tipping?)... the selectively postly tip for today actually started the whole idea... you see... I was brushing my teeth but I got kind of distracted (by a stray thought of selectively postly tipping) )while I was putting the toothpaste on the brush... I was watching myself in the mirror and not in real life... I ended up missing the brush completely and getting it all over my hand instead... so my selectively postly tip (that's really annoying to type, so from now on it's an SPT) is watch your real hands when pasting a toothbrush and not your mirror hands... it should prolly actually be - try not to think too much like Ally... but you know...

another thing... a long long time ago I mentioned making a website... I have decided not too... I barely have time to blog, never mind update... and I am lazy, so any spare time I do have is spent on improving my laziness...

I really gotta go... the screen is starting to warp (maybe it's the time?)...

...*sigh*...
I's is tired... even though it's still pretty early... tired, tired, tired... *yawn* ... the problem is, I just can't sleep... *sigh* ... somedays, I really hate being female... but then... I'd never, ever wanna be a guy... I gots no sleep at all last night... and I just had three hrs of dance... gah... no air conditioning, no wind from the window(why do they call them that anyways?)... and the fan was in the other studio... hot!hot!hot!... everyone was drenched... I came home just wearing my body suit and tights... I couldn't even be bothered with my clothes!... oh well it was tiring... but a good tiring... the kind where you feel good but still want to go to bed... but then of course, I had to take a shower... and now, I'm back to wide awake mode... *sigh(yes, I know, again)* ... we were doing tricks and stunts in jazz... it was fun... Hailey did a monkey roll with me... and I kept having to try and do a fan kick roll thing over Tasha's back... Sam was doing a trick and ended up doing a face plant... which wasn't her fault at all and looked really painfull... for a few seconds we all thought she'd broken her nose! ... funfun... we did our solo's in ballet... mine's almost done,Yay!...

well I really should go... I don't even know why I typed this... I guess I was hoping it would help me fall asleep...

Hmmm... I'm feeling kinda strange today... sorta... oh... I donno... girlish...

This morning I woke up at around seven and just lazed around for a bit... the sun was shining into my window and everything looked perfect... after a while, I opened my window got out of bed, picked up my book and read... (heeheehee, it rhymes...) I read the whole book before doing anything else... "The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants" is such a goooood book... most girls would enjoy it... I donno about guys though... it's about four different friends and their first summer away from each other... it's not at all as sappy as that just sounded... *sigh*... so anyways... I finally got out of bed, took a shower and got dressed... that's where the weird part comes in... I literally "got dressed"... I, Ally, am actually wearing a skirt and nice top for no reason what so ever... I never wear skirts if I can help it... I've also done my nails... not painted mind you *gags*... just cut and filed... I've done all that type of girly primping: my hair, my face, ect... (inbetween doing three loads of laundry... which I supose could also be called a girly thing...) ... and sadly enough... I look like I'm about to go out somewhere... the "sadly enough" part is, that I'm not... I don't even do nearly this much to go to school or out with freinds... oh well... I guess a little self indulgence is needed sometimes... it's just so weird... I actually feel comfy, in a Skirt! ...

well... I should prolly finish my math ISU... It's actually been fun so far... or maybe that's just the strange mood I'm in...
The Oddly Girlish,
Ally

ps. It's not like I'm a tomboy or anything (*laughs* me in mud?)... I just hate Impracticle things... namely skirts and pointless primping... I'm not a slob either... I generally look presentable... not always... but generally...

Oooh!!!
I saw Chicago!!! it was amazingly fantastic!!! ... it was such a fun movie! ... goodgoodgoodgoodgood... Em thinks Velma and Roxie got what they deserved in the end... having to work together... I'm inclined to agree... I loved Catherine Zeta-Jones...I don't usually like Renee Zellweger but she was good in this one... I didn't think Richard Gear would be all that great... but I love the tap dancing/ court room scene... Queen Latifah was amazing... she was prolly my fav... my fav song was the cellblock tango... I loved that one... I just adored the way the whole movie was put together... I felt sooo sorry for the innocent one *sniff*... I really loved the ending too...

After watching Chicago me and Em went... Shopping!!! I bought a nice pair of gray pants, a gorgeous red sweater top, and a pretty dress top... all for just $40.25... and all good quality too... I just love it when outlet malls have sales, don't you? ... we also went into the book store... honnestly, it's us, what did you expect? heeheehee I got seven books and ordered two more... Em got the same amount... only she didn't order any... yay!!! sixteen more books to read... well 15 really we both bought one of the same books... I truly will end up going broke soon if I don't stop buying so many... I just read so damn fast!!!

Dindin time,
The Happily Hungry,
Ally
Disclaimer

Sorry most of my posts lately have been about the war... it's just been on my mind alot lately... prolly 'cause of all the media attention... If you don't agree with my views that's fine, I don't expect you too... I for one hate being force fed someone elses oppinions... but if you dissagree please post a comment... I love hearing different peoples view points...

... on that note, I do have a few more things to say... yes the US is a meddlesome war starting country... but I can't say I don't want them to win... now that they're in there, that's the only way... I mean, last time they left the citezens that uprised in 1991 in a horrible position by encouriging them to revolt and then leaving them alone with no backup to face Saddam's wrath... I just don't think that the US should be in there in the first place, they're going about it the wrong way... plus, this paves the way for any other nation to dissregard the UN and throw the whole world into turmoil... I think that the US should have to finish what they started, but that they should be charged for war crimes after this is done...

but of course, that's just my oppinion,
Ally
Grrrrr... I think by now everyone knows my take on this "war"...

It's soooooo dumb... isn't this what got us into this mess in the first place... the US insisting on getting rid of another country's leader, just because they don't like them? ... there are plenty worse that Saddam... I'll admit that he really needs to be gotten rid of... he after all, does hold mass public executions and doesn't tolerate anyone saying a single bad thing about him... but what about the genocide going on in Africa? why isn't the US in there? It's so stupid, they're killing so many innocents for something that isn't any of their business... really if it get's that bad, there will be a revolt... after all the US managed to overthrow brittain years ago, and they had no weapons or training! ...yes, lot's of people will be killed for speaking out against Saddam, but it really has to come from within... and if they really wanted help, they'd have asked for it... okay, so their pride might not let them, but that's really their problem... it's not up to us to decide when they need help... we can't, we don't understand thier culture or costoms, we don't live there, we don't know how they think... plus there are so many different cultures and religions in Iraq, that a democracy probably won't work... the US really has this thing about democracy being the only way... no communism, no dictatorship, so why haven't they gone after the monarchies??? okay so dictartors and communist's aren't great, but isn't a monarchy kind of like a dictatorship? one person is ruling... it's not complete totalitarianism (sp?) but it's still there... yes democracy is prolly the best, but it's even better in theory... comunism is great in theory too... it's peoples greed that screws it up...

so anyways... I just realised that I forgot to tell about my annual tree... you see, ever since I started skiing five years ago, I've crashed in to at least one tree per year... my favourite so far, is last year's, a lovely snow ghost (a completely snow covered pine)... I was pratically burried, all the snow came down when I hit it... it all landed on me... this year, I thought it was a dead unatached brach... it unfortunately, wasn't... it was a little, young tree... and when I skied over it, it decided to get me back by comming up and wacking me right in the face... *sigh*... it was funny... just hummiliating too...

well, I'm gonna go, I'm actually going to see Chicago today! YAY!!!

This war is sooooooo damn pointless...

12 yrs ago the US got pissed at Iraq because they tried to take over the oil wells... and what's the US doing now??? and the whole weapons of mass destruction thing... I suppose the US is allowed to keep theirs because they're not likely to go to war without a reason..? ... *rolls eyes*... okay, so Saddam Hussein(sp?) isn't the greatest person... and the US isn't allowed to send in their CIA agents anymore... but they're still essentially doing the same thing... assasinating and replacing... and doing it the old way created fewer deaths (well, not really)... beside... this whole thing started because..? ...we went from Osama to Saddam, how? I mean, really, the only link I can see between the two is that the US put them both in power and gave them most of thier weapons!!!

...that being said... Kat get's back from Quebec today... she went with the school... hope she had fun...

I had a crappy day... well not really... I had my ribs popped back in... yay! only one didn't go... ugh!... then I was sprayed with axe (I hate that stuff) three times... because, hey, we know Ally hates it most... and then twice more... but this time with a different scent... because guys are stupid and don't know that you cannot... I repeat cannot mix scents!!! ... this resulted in a horribly strong and disgustingly aerosolish smell... it gave me such a bad headache that I had to come home... you should've seen how fast I got into the shower... oh well... I got out of school early... still not worth it... heeheehee... that's okay... I get to plan revenge now... hmmmm... a revoltingly girly smelling perfume would be good... don't you think?

The Stinkily Coniving,

Hihi,
sorry I haven't blogged in a few days... I've been kinda busy... you know catching up on this whole pathetically pointless U.S./Iraq war thing, my school work and life in general... I'll prolly do a blog on it tomorrow... the war, I mean... I'm just too tired now... I guess 4hrs of dance does that to you... *sigh*... I just felt guilty about not blogging in a while... so here I am! ... blogging... well... finishing blogging anyways...

... I never mentioned any of the highlights from the trip...
...and there were quite a few...

my cousins who are 11 and amazing (I'm dead serious) skiers going through glades in 10 secs flat and having to wait 20mins at the bottom for us oldies to come down... all us kids spending half a day searching runs for the sugar shack... one of the mothers commenting after a night where we got a light dusting of snow "you know, I think I'll take a lesson to learn how to ski in snow" ... Tash comming in with a block of ice that looked exactly like a dick... we left that one in the freezer for the next ppl in the chalets... Beck singing in the car and driving us all crazy... Beck and her quotes... Tash and her story about the girl she sat beside on the bus in daycare who had a huge, indigo bugger in her nose... staying up late and still waking up earlier than the grownups... all of us watching the first two seasons of friends, one of the girls had them on tape... me going night skiing with a bunch of the adults... who I swear were drunk... I knew they'd had alcohol... I just didn't know they'd had that much... watching the "guys" (the fathers) trying the kokanee buss jump... while drunk...

... good times... *sigh* ... there are so many more than that too... and there were soooo many hillarious quotes... we really need to do this again next year...

The Day Dreaming,
Ally
ya - know what???

I was just about to complain about how bored I was and how my friends should update thier blogs 'cause I had nothing to read... when I realised, that I couldn't say anything seeing as how I hadn't updated mine either... so I figure doing as promised and telling about my March Break should alleviate my boredom...

Well, I went on the trip with my aunt, uncle and twin cuz's... heeheehee it was fun!!!... back to the story... we left early Sat morning (as you'll know if you've read my earlier posts...) ... first we drove to Montreal and spent some time visiting my uncles old roomate... his daughter speaks perfect english (and her parents have never heard her say a word of it) and we all speak french... plus the guy is a gourmet cook... you know me... as long as the foods good... the next day we all went tubing... talk about fun!!! then me and my cuz's went skating on these frozen over streets through the woods... man do french canadians ever know how to make ice rinks!!! they even had a sugar shack there!!!

We then went to Mont St. Anne just outside of Quebec City... it was great, we met up with four other families who live on my cousins' street... I've skied with a few of them before and met all the others... we shared two huge chalets and had sooooo much fun... it was weird tho... all us kids were girls!!! so anyways... we skied St. Anne for three days... they had a sugar shack there too!!! it was half way down the mountain, on one of the runs... yummy mapple taffy!!! we had my aunts birthday there too... we bought the cake mix (with her there... oh well she didn't notice *shrugs*)... and then baked it one afternoon while she had a lesson(heeheehee... 2hrs on the moggles... what a b-day!!!)... we told her we were staying in with one of the girls who had hurt herself... and she beleived us!!! she didn't even clue in 'til we brought her cake out that night!!! heeheehee... they tried to do the same thing on my b-day... only with a bought cake... didn't really work tho... the whole original plan was my idea...

On Thursday we went to Massif and skied there for the day... the views there are gorgeous!!! it looks like if you kept skiing at the bottom, you'd go right into the St. Lawrence!!! suposedly you can even whale watch during spring skiing!!! you can really feel the wind there though and everything gets pretty icy pretty quick... on our last two runs I went sliding down this one section on my butt... twice!!! and it was my birthday too!!! oh well, the first time was an accident... I've skied pretty icy mountains before... this section was pure ice though!!! the second time however I got fed up halfway and decided to take the fast and easy way down... besides... it was fun!!!

on the friday we went into Quebec for a quick visit on our way to Vermont where we were going to visit friends of friends (they're amazing cooks too!!!)... they have this great house on one of the mountains... you can't see any neighbours and thier property is like 10acres!!! and it's only a 10 min drive to the ski hill... so on saturday we skied Burke Mountain... which I have to say, was my favourite the whole trip (fave ever is Big White, in the canadian rockies)... the views there were gorgeous too... plus the trails were all cut with the treeline... they were relatively narrow and really nice... my cousins even dragged me onto a double black that was like a really, really steep glade.... have I ever mentioned how much I hate moggles... well, I do!!! ... funilly enough though... I enjoyed that run... maybe it's cause there were lots of trees and it was steep so I wasn't thinking about moggles... who knows...

then... came the nine hour ride home where we all proceded to drive each other nuts... oh well... it was fun!!!

I'm ba-ack!!!

heeheehee... well, I had a lot of fun... we skied three really great mountains and the skiing conditions were pretty good... a lil' icy and windy... but good all the same... I have sooooooo many little stories and funny quotes that I want to tell... but I don't feel very well right now... damn sinus infection is hanging on... and I still have a horible sinus headache... so I guess I'll just sorta post them as I remember them throughout the next few weeks... it was really, really, really fun though... damn it... I dun wanna go back to school... oh well...

oops almost forgot... I need to change my intro thingy...

Happy St. Patty's Day,
I'll blog again later,
Ally

heeheehee... I just realised... next time I blog... I'll be fifteen!!! heeheehee... for anybody who cares... (not that anyone does) ... the birthday's on March 13th...

eek... fifteen... scary... *shudders* ... one year closer to everyone having to worry... me driving a car: very frightening thought... heeheehee... 15... that'll be sooooo weird... I already have trouble enough remembering my age... I usually end up telling ppl I'm nine(oops! lol)... gah... I can't wait to go skiing... even if I am sick... ...heeheehee... I wonder what day I'll end up crashing into my annual tree..? I just noticed (I've been noticing alot lately...) I've been "heeheehee-ing" alot... hmmm... I wonder why that is... oh well... I should prolly get going...

Ally

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
They can't get rid of my Biggystaff!!! Nonononononono!!!!! they can't!!! Stupid Idiots!... he was the only good thing in the hp movies... noooooo!!! they can't leave him out... Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! *continues fit for another ten minutes* ... sniffsniff... my only consolation is that Biggystaff will be in lot's more movies... that, and Tom Felton is getting hotter as he gets older... as long as he doesn't desert us, I should be fine...

(...for those of you who don't understand(bad, bad ppl): Biggystaff = Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood in the Harry Potter Movies) really good actor, does stage and film, is really hot, has a sexy voice and has a really great personality (if his online diary can be trusted)... hp = Harry Potter... Tom Felton= Draco Malfoy)

The Extremely Devastated And Horrified,
Ally
(ps. wow this post makes me sound like some crazy teenage girl... oh wait!!! that's what I am!!! heeheehee... and yes... I had a celeb crush on Biggystaff... ok, fine *have*)

Ooooooooh!!!
I'm actually doing stuff on my blog... I guess I'm not as lazy as I think I am... (does that make any sense?) ... I'd say I'm doing pretty well for a person who knows absolutely nothing about html... I feel pretty talented... I have an Imood(which tells you I'm talented, and if you click on it, it might tell you why...) I have comments... (mostly so I can have something to read when I'm bored)... and I have a tag-board... just 'cause it's fun to play with...

I gonna go now 'cause my head is kinda hurting...
bye-d-byez
Ally
ps. use those comment buttons!!!
YAY!!! I get to take gr.11 philosophy next year!!! I'm soooooo happy!!!

Yesterday was "bubble day" at school... you have to take your approved course selections and transfer them to these bubble card thingys... you know those computer cards where you fill in the circles with an HB pencil?... anyways... I'm rather dissapointed in my school... you'd think with it being called "bubble day" and all... that the "bubbles" might actually be round... they weren't... honnestly, whose ever heard of rectangular bubbles???

... I know there was something else I wanted to blog about, but I can't quite remember what it is... grr... I hate when that happens!!!
... I finally went to school on a monday yesterday... and you know what??? the crew meeting was cancelled... aghk... that's just sooo my luck... I don't know why I wasn't expecting it!!! *sigh* ... oh well, that's what gives my other wise torturously mundane life some spark... keeps me from going completely and totally insane... which is, well, rather important seeing as how I'm not too far off...

my math teacher and my science teacher were supposed to learn how to snowboard yesterday... one got sick and the other fell down the stairs and hurt herself... we're not too sure that they both aren't perfectly fine and just faking it... speaking of injury/sickness... the reason I'm home yet again today... is another one of those (bleeping) pressure changes... I hate my head... the damned thing is pounding... yes I know the compy's prolly not helping much... but I really needed something to do!

I really should get off this thing before my head explodes...
The Really Bored and... well... bored?,

Oh goody... I just spent an hour trying to fix my evil ucky blog!!!
YAY!!!
Ally now has comments... she finally got off her lazy arse and did something!!!
Comment ppl comment!!!
I feel like writing today...

I have no idea why, I just do... good thing too! I have to write a story for my math ISU (don't ask, we have to right an interesting story about a graph... well, the stuff that's been graphed... not the graph itself) which should be entertaining... heeheehee my story is confizzeling... and I just finished doing an overdue health assigment... which was, surprisingly enough, fun to write... I had to write a letter to my parents telling them that I had either an STD or that I was pregnant... I chose to write a letter to my mom telling her I was pregnant... I even made up this whole little senario with this party and this guy and ya... it was fun...

grrr... I still feel like writing, but I have nothing to write about!!! gah!!! that's not good... It's also strange 'cause I actually feel "normal"... which, for me is unatural because I'm never "normal"... I'm usually out of it, weird, insane, crazy, wacky, cuckoo, nutty... I think you understand... anything but "normal"... notice the quotation marks around "normal"... what is normal?... to me being weird is normal... to someone else, being calm and quiet it normal... to me that's insane... who wants to be calm and quiet??? loud people all the way!!!

OOH!!! I get to go skiing on the March break!!! YAY!!! I can't wait!!! I haven't been skiing all year!!! funfunfun, happyhappyhappy!!! yupyup... I'm going with my lil' cuzs... well, they're not really little... the twins are almost 12... and they're way better skiers than I am... heeheehee that's the twins... the little twins are almost two and the big twins (my aunts) are almost 39... I can't wait!!! too bad my mom can't come... she hasn't been skiing all year either... :p

well I think I'm gonna go work on math now...
The Wonderfully Amazing and Awe-Inspiring,
Ally

... hey... I'm feeling normal again... as in my normal... crazy-normal...
